The increase in the urban population world over has spurred a surge in vehicular traffic, leading to messy intra-city commutes, and a subsequent rise in air pollution and environmental degradation. India is not an exception. The birth of Toutche Electric Bicycles took place by the experimental minds of Raghu & Mahesh, to solve at least a small part of this multiplying problem. 

Toutche, is an electric vehicle venture that has set out to reshape urban mobility with its best-in-class electric vehicles & bicycles. Toutche’s mission is to significantly reduce 4-wheeled vehicles by getting people out of their cars/SUVs, and onto its “traffic and pollution busters.”.

The venture began its journey in 2015 when the founding team of Raghu K (Graduate from IIM Bangalore & NIT Warangal) and Mahesh H.S. (Engineering Graduate from Mysore) started putting the foundational blocks together.

We believe the right mix of personal mobility, shared mobility, and mass-rapid-transit systems will be the key to build an efficient urban transport system in India. That’s how our pursuit to build best-in-class Electric two-wheelers took shape in the form of Toutche. Electric Bicycle is the first form that we have embarked on with our Heileo range, and plans to manufacture other types, are underway. “Heileo comes in two styles catering to specific needs of our customers – Mountain and Hybrid. The Mountain style (M100, M200) offers versatile bikes that are suitable for both daily commuting rides and off-roading as well. The Hybrid style (H200) is one for commuting and long road rides,” informs Mahesh Co-Founder & Chief Engineer.

All three bicycles are available to purchase online on Toutche’s official website with EMI option and delivery within 10 working days.

Toutche’s products are designed and assembled entirely in India. Its assembly unit is in Mysore and the technology unit where it carries out all the cutting-edge development is housed in Bangalore. Toutche currently has a dealer network of premium bicycle stores across 10 cities in India, and it continues to scale. It has an authorized service network across 18 cities in India offering after-sales service and support for its products.
