EV News Tata Power in collaboration with MG Motors to install Superfast Charging Stations By EV Duniya Editorial 17 June 20202149 views ShareTweet 0 Looks like there is every possible effort going around the corner to strengthen the market for electricity. One such effort in news is the signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Tata Power Ltd., and MG Motor India Pvt Ltd. The collaboration will work to install fast chargers for electric vehicles at selected outlets across India. The two companies are reportedly seeking opportunities to collaborate further in improving the lifespan of lithium-ion batteries used in electric vehicles. As a part of their collaboration, the Tata Power will install 50KW DC superfast chargers over the selected dealerships of MG Motors India and will offer end-to-end charging solutions. “We are delighted to associate with MG Motor India as an end-to-end EV charging partner as also working on the second life of battery usage in the future. As India’s leading integrated player in the EV charging space, we aim to provide customers with a seamless charging experience. We are confident that this partnership with MG Motor will further boost our country’s ability to adapt the electrified range of vehicles that MG Motor has to offer,” said Praveer Sinha, chief executive, and managing director, Tata Power.
