In the UK, the number of charging points for Electric cars is already outnumbering the petrol stations!

“One of the myths we urgently need to clear up is a perceived lack in charging points.” This should come as Good News to all the citizens in the UK!

The announcement was made by none other than Edmund King, The British PR Professional, and the President of the Automobile Association.

According to the Data, taken from the Department of Transport UK, as of April 1, the total number of charging points for Electric cars took an unprecedented rise of 17,947, when compared to the petrol stations that comes to around 8,000 only.

He added: “With a 61% year-on-year increase and more public charge points being installed every week, it should give confidence to drivers that they will be able to get home in an electric car.”
