Here is a list of top electric cars available in India right now Top Electric Cars in India | 2020 List Hyundai Kona Electric Hyundai’s Kona Electric is Versatile and powerful and is the first All-Electric SUV in India. The model comes with a 39.2 kWh battery which has an ARAI-certified range of 452 km. Hyundai deals this model in two automatic variants in India. It offers a 7.2kW AC wall charger that completely charges the battery within 6 hours and 10 minutes. Hyundai offers this model at a starting rate of Rs. 23.71 Lakhs. Tata Tigor EV Tata Tigor EV was launched last year for commercial use in three variants. These three variants come with an automatic transmission only. Tata is offering this model in retail between Rs. 9.54 Lakh and 9.85 Lakh. The model comes with a 21.5 kWh battery pack, an electric motor which produces 40.7 PS of maximum power and 105 Nm peak torque. It also comes with halogen headlamps, infotainment system and keyless entry. MG Motors ZS EV “The ZS EV is designed for those who want all the advantages of a zero-emission car without compromising on style,” says MG. It is priced between Rs. 20.88 Lakh and Rs. 23.58 Lakh. It is equipped with a 44.5 kWh; liquid-cooled IP67-rated battery which has an ARAI claimed range of 340 km. This model is loaded with high tech features like 8-inch infotainment screen, a panoramic sunroof, drive modes, cruise control, a PM 2.5 AC air filter and a powered driver’s seat. Mahindra eKUV100 Mahindra launched its first electric car in India the eKUV 100. This model is presented with specifications like 15.9 kWh battery pack with fast-charging capabilities and offers a range of around 147 km on a single charge. It comes with new features that allow pre-cooling of the vehicle with set temperatures for air conditioning. This vehicle comes with technical features like remote diagnostics, remote door lock/unlock, location tracking and battery status updates all through an app. It is offered at a starting price of Rs. 8.25 Lakh having zero rivals in the market. Tata Nexon EV This model by Tata is powered by a 30.2 kWh battery pack and a 129 PS/245 Nm electric motor. The Nexon EV has a range of 312 km and can be charged up to 80% with a DC fast charger within an hour. Tata presents this model in 3 variants with automatic transmission available in trendy colours.
