Skill Shark is a skill Development start-up Co-Founded by EV Technocrats Akbar & Ashhar to upskill the future workforce in Sustainable technologies like Electric Vehicles and Renewable Energies.

Inspired by the Quote “Be a Shark in a World Full of Fish”, they strive towards building an effective Skill Based Education System.

As it is evident from the experts, the only way to bring EVs to the masses is by building a whole Ecosystem, not just Vehicles. The EV Ecosystem comprises of various stakeholders ranging from Charging Infra providers to Battery Manufacturers and so on. We believe that the presence of Skill Development Initiatives for Start-ups have a bigger challenge to address the smooth transition in establishing a sustainable Ecosystem for Electric Vehicles.

There always exists a silver lining in the new jobs that will emerge vs the jobs that would be lost, especially when technology transitions happen at a massive level. Unless we derive Upskilling methodologies to cater to new jobs and reskill existing job profiles as well, our dreams of achieving an electric future would come at a great cost of Unemployability and Unemployment.

The team at Skill Shark strives towards Electrifying India by Upskilling. They started as a Skill Development Start-up working towards Upskilling the future workforce on sustainable technologies. As a start-up, they are mentored by various experts in Renewable technologies across the world in addressing these challenges.

Talking to EV Duniya, Ashhar Ahmed (Co-Founder SkillShark EduTech) said: “Thanks to all the stakeholders in the EV ecosystem who well-received our concerns for a Holistic Skill development program. We need to build a robust Ecosystem for Electric Vehicles. We are glad to share the fact that we have signed MOUs with Engineering Colleges and Universities in different regions of India. Our approach to Skill Development has gone international as well, as we have signed strategic MOUs with universities in Africa as well. Our MOUs deal with Holistic training on the EV ecosystem and guiding students in building career paths for an Electric Future. We are also establishing Learning Centers for Electric Vehicles.”

They have up-skilled 8,000+ Participants from 250+ different Institutions last year. They are looking forward to many such Skill Awareness & Development Programs to upskill at a much bigger level in the coming year too.

Most importantly the challenge in Upskilling on Electric Vehicles is Mechatronics Approach which is a confluence of Mech, EEE, and ECE Etc. Thus it requires us to train the students in a manner that brings positive outcomes for all the participants.

The aim of SkillShark is to create a Learning & Technology Ecosystem Focused on Employability & Entrepreneurship Skills. Un-Employability is a Bigger Problem than Unemployment. And SkillShark is working to foster Skills, Innovation, Employability & Entrepreneurship.
